Demon
I am trying to locate the Sync Fuse location so I can get my Sync Services to recognize my phone. I have it all set up in Syncmyride.com the car can see the phone and I can even make calls via the voice activation feature but I cannot get Sync Services to recognize my cell phone number. Car is a 2014 Ford Fusion SE My Cellphone is a Samsung Galaxy S3. I've read that pulling that fuse will hopefully get Sync to work.
akirby
The fuses are in the owner's manual. It appears to be fuse 33 in the passenger compartment. You could also just disconnect the battery cable for a few minutes (safely of course).

Lint
Hello, I'm new here, as this past Sunday I bought a used 2015 Fusion SE. So far, aside from the weird Sync issue, which I didn't have in my 2013 Focus, I really like the car. I know I'm bringing this thread back from the dead, but if hate to start a new thread for an old issue. I'm looking for clarification on which fuse should be pulled as well as all about the procedure, ie, should the vehicle be turned off, pull fuse, let it sit, etc... I all because I've read a couple of procedures which varied in their methods. I've also read it is fuse number 32, so I just want to clarify. Thanks for your help.
akirby
Check the owner's manual to be sure - it lists the fuses and locations.
Lint
Check the owner's manual to be sure - it lists the fuses and locations. I had done so, but I was looking for Sync, not radio.
Lint
I have removed the fuse for about 4 minutes and the radio presets are now erased, however it has had no effect on the phone portion of my Sync, which isn't responding at all. I'm stumped, as it randomly works, but with no predictable pattern. Did I not leave it out long enough? Should I have started the car while it was out?
akirby
Pull the negative battery cable for a few minutes - that is guaranteed to reset everything.
Lint
I actually did this and left the positive cable off for over an hour. No difference.
akirby
Then pulling the fuse won't help.

I have a similar issue, my media and phone buttons are useless, when I push the buttons, the screen just blink and it takes me back to radio station, media menu is not available.
