Hard Start After Refueling

Hey guys, just signed up, so this is my 1st post. I have a 2010 Fusion SEL 3.0L Flex Fuel. I have only had it about 2 weeks now, and the CEL came on I hooked it up to my reader and I had 3 codes! P0456, P2198, P2196. I also have a rough time getting the car to start everytime I fill up with gas, I have read about the Evap canister, or the purge valve going bad on these things, I don't have $600 to spend getting this thing diagnosed, is there a better place me me to start looking? I read about people topping of there tanks when filling up, and I'm guilty of that, so no more of that for me ;-)

Thanks in advance!

Joe

My 2010 Fusion SEL 3.0L Flex Fuel was indicating  error P1450 , (Unable To Bleed Up Fuel Tank Vacuum (Ford) Inability of Evaporative Emission Control System to Bleed Fuel Tank)

I had the dealer look at it and the repair was to clean the fuel filler cap.  This repair  did not address the issue as the code reappeared about 6 weeks later.   I would clean the fuel filler cap myself and reset the code only to have it reappear.  This issue went on for several months as just a minor irritation of having to clean the fuel filler cap and reset the code.  This last week however the vehicle was difficult to start after refueling.  It exhibited this behavior twice.  Further investigation on the web suggested the problem could be in the Fuel Vapor Storage Canister or the Vapor Canister Purge Valve.  I removed the Fuel Vapor Storage Canister  which is located under the wheel well of the trunk (outside).  The canister appeared intact with no liquid gasoline present.  There was a small obstruction in one of the connector tubes, looked like a small piece of styro-foam which I blew out.  I also replaced the Vapor Canister Purge Valve, which proved to be defective as it would not seal under no power condition.  Upon completion, I refueled the vehicle and started with no issue.  No code has reappeared.
