halsader
another shot of the chrome pillars... with and without. also, i found those pillars on eBay, for 42 dollars excluding shipment to UAE, is it a reasonable price or is it overpriced? its sold by (ASD RESTYLERS).. one more thing, if i want to install those pillars, do i have to "stick them" on top of the original black, or do i take out the black n put those instead (im not much of a pro in cars u see), which way does it go?.. thanks for the help
enormus
The pillars stick on. I wouldn't do it; I think stick on chrome looks cheap. Everything else you are thinking about -- especially the blackout ring on the tails -- looks good.

Mutnat
I'm with enormus, I prefer it without the extra chrome. Honestly, I think it looks a lot classier with just the strip along the window bottom. Sometimes less is more! Which brings me to exhaust tips: I greatly prefer the two oval/square/slot styles ones you've pictured versus the two dual-pipe option you've also posted. So I prefer this http://www.fordfusionforum.com/index.php?a...post&id=253 and not this http://www.fordfusionforum.com/index.php?a...post&id=262

Mutnat
Thanks Mutnat, i thought so too... blacked out taillights?! I guess it depends on your local laws and how strickly they are enforced. I think in north america we are required to have reflective lenses in either red or amber on the back of the car, so doing something like this would technically be illegal in most/all states/provinces; how much the local police choose to enforce it however really varies. I don't know if you have different regulations though. I do really like the look of it though!
CJLee89
The blacked out lights look sweet. And yes in North America, at least Ohio, you have to have some red coloring in the tail lights.

halsader
O btw, i wanna change my gear/shift knob. does anyone know HOW do i take out the stock one, and which knobs work on my car? do i have to get some specific measurements b4 i buy one? thx
akirby
Automobile tint is measured as %VLT or Percent Visible Light Transmission - how much of the light is allowed to pass through. So in this case 20% is correct as only 20% of the visible light is allowed to pass through. It's an industry standard term. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Window_film
