16fusionSE Posted August 20, 2015 Share Posted August 20, 2015 Hell everyone. I have recently traded in my 12 explorer for a 16 Fusion SE 1.5L ecoboost. I have been extremely happy with the car. Don't know wether to be concerned or not. Not sure if I got accustomed to the "quietness" of the v6 on my previous vehicle. When I start the car I can clearly hear a somewhat ticking/knocking sound coming from the engine bay. While inside, the noise is inaudible. Today my wife was driving around the neighborhood showing my in laws our new purchase. While driving towards our driveway, I could clearly hear the noise. It's something that somewhat bothers me.
