I have a 2.0 ecoboost titanium that recently every time right after fill up the engine briefly idles down and 1 time it turned off. I took it to the dealer, paid $50 so they can tell me it was the evap purge valve (part DG9Z9D289).I look up that part and it shows a hose. Can anybody give me some feedback as far as what's the problem and how difficult is to replace. Thank you.

I had the same issue at 52K and received a P144A code which has to do with the evaporative emissions systems. I just had the CEL come on, did you ever figure out what the issue was, and if it was fixed? I read in other forums it is a purge valve that needs to be replaced, but I have been unlucky as well in trying to find this part for a 13 model. For the 12 and earlier models it was an easy fix and the part was 40$. I'm going to the dealer to get a recall fixed and I'm going to ask them to show me where the purge valve is and give me a part number and quote on the valve. Let me know if you fixed the issue and if you found the purge valve.
