onexl85
Having some trouble changing my lower control arms on my 06 Ford Fusion 2.3 4cyl There seems to be a bushing that sits in the knuckle to accept the tapered ball joint end of the control arm. I destroyed the bushing trying to remove it from the old control arm and cannot find a replacment part number. Has anyone expirianced this? Thank for lookin!
indifferent
is it "destroyed" or just stuck on the control arm? If it's not destroyed u can use a puller to get it off.

mckinja
I just did the same thing this past weekend. for future reference, I was able to obtain the sleeve from Mazda dealer. remember, the front sleeve and rear sleeve on the knuckle are different part numbers. I have a 2008 fusion. the part I obtained was from a 2008 mazda 6. ford does not offer these sleeves unless you purchase a complete steering knuckle which is approx $300
