BlueOval2010
The left bolster on the driver's seat back is starting to show a little wear from getting in/out of the car. Anyone know of a reliable way to color it black again? I could put a new seat back cover on it, but I'm concerned about tearing into it due to the air bag. I have no clue what I'd be getting into.

I have a 2014 with 9K miles. The cream leather interior on the same spot you refered to has the dye totally missing now. Not too happy. Almost positive Ford doesnt cover this unless you get the Xylon joke of a warranty.
BlueOval2010
Yeah, I think we're out of luck. I might try a little black dye to hide the wear marks, but I'm concerned it might transfer onto my clothes.
akirby
Find a good detailer - they can dye it for you and it should look good as new and no worries about transfer, etc. Shouldn't be too expensive either.
hermans
I had an interior detailer retouch a couple of spots on the Dune interior in my 2013 FFH before I sold it. Cost me $25. Looked as good a new.

jamesbialek
Came here looking for something similar... 2014 Fusion started showing wear and tear on the piping in the drivers seat... I mentioned it at my service and GG Ford replaced the leather seat cover of the driver's seat totally. But, I now notice that it bulks and hangs differently in some places (Not being so form fitted) and I am wondering if it gets better with time....
hermans
I remember there being a lot of posts on the Fusion Hybrid forms starting a few years ago. They were directly talking about premature wear of the piping.
