Yes this is my daughters car and when something goes wrong with it , it is turned over to me . She has had the car for 2 yrs this month and the car has been good with no problems just had the check engine light go on for what I believe was a thermostat I got rid of the light and checked things out and its been good going on a month and a half . Then on 11/6 she stopped over and as she was coming to stop her stearing went out and the motor continued to run and she heard a bang she shut of the engine. Then after investigation the belt came off then noticed a pulley down in front or side of engine I pushed it into the garage after more looking around and because you cant see or get a good look at where this pulley goes I started removing parts like the coolant overflow tank and still cant see to much disconected battery neg and rested my motor on some blocks I have for this type of situation and proceeded to remove the motor mount now I can see where I think it goes so now I have some problemsI have to get the broken bolt out of there and why is the spot where the broken bolt goes (right on the edge of the block ) cut away leaving onlya few threads left to to hold this pulley securely (maybe 10 threads on 5/16 - 18) Im thinking the way this broke and the evidence I have left over here, maybe this happened before so if anyone has any information on this type of job let me know it would be very much appreciated. My next step is to remove the leftover bolt from the one that was severed on 11/6
