Aloujimenez Posted November 20, 2015 Share Posted November 20, 2015 Hello I am going crazy here trying to find info anywhere I can on what could possibly be the issue with my vehicle. Trying to avoid any towing or mechanic fees unless last resort.My car was riding fine the day this issue began, Came home from store and parked the car, put it in reverse to adjust parking then slid it back into park. No unusual sounds or anything but the car was stuck in reverse on the dashboard and gear, but the shifter was in park and I then couldn't move it at all. Put the emergency brake on and turned the car off. Tried turning the car back on, but it wouldn't start due to it being in reverse. Cannot move shifter at all to move to any other gears its just stuck in PARK. Brake lights work fine although the brake pedal does feel a little bit tougher to push down.
