Tino Posted January 11, 2016 Share Posted January 11, 2016 Good Afternoon. I would like to know if I can replace the case ( shell ) of a 2007 ford fusion key remote. The markings on the buttons are gone. Is this possible to open the case and transfer the electronics to a new case or do I have to purchase a new remote and program? eGuru Posted January 11, 2016 Share Posted January 11, 2016 The key and electronics are sealed inside the case and the only access is to the battery. I don't think you will have success opening it up without messing up the plastic. Also I doubt you can just find the case plastics.
