JayGee Posted February 1, 2016 Share Posted February 1, 2016 Hey guys, I remember a long time ago when I got my Fusion I was interested in a turbocharger kit but it was impossible to find one (other than the jank ones on ebay). I just happened to feel like googling it today and a link on amazon popped up. It says the models/years it is compatible with and it says: 06-11 Ford Fusion S/ SE/ SEL 2.3L/ 2.5L. Im not sure how trustworthy it is, but I typically find amazon a bit more reliable than ebay. Any opinions on this? It has yet to have any reviews :/. I read something before about our cars not having the best "u-joints" for the extra power? Im not sure what that is but its something to talk about. It says in the description that it is "Capable of boosting horse power up to 300+ BHP". Oh and also 3 very positive reviews on February 2, 2016. Since it is Feb 1 today (except in Asia), I am cautious. MonoxideChild Posted February 6, 2016 Share Posted February 6, 2016 The equipment pictured most defenitly would not fit. The turbo manifold is way off. If they cant even show a picture of the actual product, what makes you think they would work? You say you dont trust Ebay. But at least some ebay kits show parts that will at least bolt up. Id stay away from this kit. Far far away. There are full kits out there that exist. I myself have a Greddy 2.3 turbo kit i imported from Japan. Which would fit the 2.5's just the same.
