20Fusion13 Posted February 2, 2016 Share Posted February 2, 2016 I have a 2013 Fusion Se that has the basic radio system in it. I'm pretty sure that it is the six speaker system, two in each front door and one in each back door. I am interested in upgrading to a touchscreen and adding a backup camera. I would like for it to work with the steering wheel controls as well as the Ford Sync voice command. I would like to have the ambient lighting feature that the 2015 taurus has. I can live without it having navigation capabilities. Does anybody have experience making this switch? I'm interested to know which touchscreen radios would offer these features and which ones are the more reliable systems? I don't know what comes stock in the fusions other than that they are Sony, but I suspect there are better and more affordable options. schafd3 Posted May 30, 2016 Share Posted May 30, 2016 From my research, you are not able to upgrade from the small 4 inch sync to the 8 inch sync my touch. Something to do with the software that the car is loaded up with. Similar to the Navigation and the touch screen...mine doesn't have it, and I apparently can't just install it...its either factory or its just not going to happen. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
