Beethoven
- Locking on departure (can be switched off in the menu)-12V Points permanently- Digital speedometer- Tire pressure visualization
drolds1
I asked Google to translate "Bandenspanning" even though it was apparent that it means 'tire pressure' in English. I remember that you added the 12V power point in the trunk but how how did you add the other features to the display? Are they just part of the menu from the factory that you switch on? In the U.S version, tire pressures are not shown individually. There's only a general warning and the driver has to determine which tire is low.
Beethoven
That's right, they are part of the menu from the factory and you have to switch them on, using IDS, FORSCAN perhaps ( is this program capable to do switches?). I didn't do it myself, some guy did..
drolds1
Interesting. Thanks. I wonder if these features are "hidden" in the menus of the U.S. versions as well.

hermans
I would think it would be as it is available on the left screen of the Edge.
Waldo
That cluster is unique to the European Mondeo so even if the features were there, the codes for them are likely different.

Sure, we always get the watered-down version of everything.
Beethoven
Sure, we always get the watered-down version of everything. And I thought that the Mondeo was a 'clone' of the fusion ..... , guess I was wrong....
akirby
And I thought that the Mondeo was a 'clone' of the fusion ..... , guess I was wrong.... It has a lot of the MKZ features. In Europe Mondeo is a premium vehicle.
drolds1
And I thought that the Mondeo was a 'clone' of the fusion ..... , guess I was wrong.... My comment was a little tongue-in-cheek. For years, enthusiasts in North America complained that Europe and other parts of the world got all the "good stuff" perfromance-wise while we got watered down, or completely different versions. For example, we're finally getting the Focus RS. The U.S version of the Ford Escort was a joke compared to our version. It took a decade of pleading before Mitsubishi would send us the EVO and Nissan sold a GT-R here. Then there's the Australian Ford hi-po cars. I could go on but you get the idea. Beethoven
For years, Ford has been treated inferior in Europe compared to other brands like BMW, Mercedes, VW, Volvo, Audi etc.And Japanese / Korean brands were only present in dribs and drabs (Honda, Suzuki, Mitsu, Hyundai .....)For about 20 years, Ford is a serious player in the European market, and with many good models: Escort / Escort RS; Capri, Granada (previous century). Sierra Cosworth, Mondeo, Focus ST and RS .....Ford has never boasted its consumption figures, they are "reality" no more. And the models are more luxurious, have a better 'finishing touch' With the recent scandal from VW, Ford has persisted, because they've never lied about their consumption figures. Since a few years now, Ford is selling the F150, the EDGE( that's all, I believe, ,shoot me if I'm wrong) in Europe. And they sell well. I wonder why Australia has the mondeo and not the Fusion... South-Africa/India has the .FIGO,in the segment of the fiesta, we do not.... The only thing I really regret is the fact that Ford is using three cylinder engines to bring down consumption. It does not bring down consumption, I've experienced it. I will NEVER buy a 3 cylinder! But all this does not mean that I am not satisfied with the Mondeo.I am very satisfied, indeed Edited September 14, 2016 by Beethoven
Beethoven
That cluster is unique to the European Mondeo so even if the features were there, the codes for them are likely different. And which (extra)features does the fusion have? I am curious
