ForzaTheKid
Hello! I am new to the forum! Just picked up my 2010 fusion yesterday to drive to work and back. The fusion is already lowered (2" in front and 1.5" in the rear). I was just wondering if I could fit 225x35x19s with some offset on it? I dont want any rubbing. If not, whats the biggest size wheel i can go? Let me know. Thanks!

fusionff
19" x 8" wheels, with an offset between +26 and +44 and a 225/40/19 tire should fit without issue. If you go with your 225/35/19 posted above, that smaller tire would also work. Keep in mind, the lower the offset, the closer the tires gets to the fender.
Waldo
A 225/35-19 isn't going to come anywhere close to the required load rating needed for your Fusion, even in an XL. A 225/40-19 would be ok with a 93 load rating though.

Waldo
A 225/35 and a 235/40 tire are the same width (225 mm). 225 = 235 ?
akirby
225 = 235 ? 225, 235 - whatever it takes. Typo. Should have said 225/35 and 225/40.

ForzaTheKid
No potholes where you live? BTW, I would take Waldo's advice seriously. I live in Michigan so the roads are preemptive terrible! Some pot holes here n there. Ill probably go with a 40 series tire i just want to make sure it will clear before i buy the rims and tires.
hermans
The are also a lot of dirt roads in Michigan. You don't have to travel very far off of 75 and you are in dirt road land.
