The next time the cops chase you down for speeding, they could be driving a fuel-efficient gas-electric hybrid. Ford Motor Company will offer a police pursuit version of the hybrid Fusion midsize sedan in response to requests nationwide. (April 10) AP

Stephen Tyler told us they were 17" rotors (check the video), and Car and Driver also got the same info: http://blog.caranddriver.com/ford-now-o ... -pursuits/

It's also listed in Ford's spec sheet for the vehicle: https://media.ford.com/content/dam/ford ... -sheet.pdf

Looks like they both have the same wrong info. Folks who have seen the thing up close are saying it has 17" rims and 13" front rotors (the standard Fusion Hybrid has 11.8" rotors). Typos in press releases are not uncommon, particularly on small details like this that a marketing intern is not going to catch during a pre-show rush.

17" rotors would require 21" or 22" tires, which those most certainly are not.
