Front suspension creaking pop noise, but only when hot outside.

I noticed this noise last year, only when it is approximately 70/75 degrees outside. Winter came, I live in the Midwest, and the noise went away. Now it is coming back. My chilly/cool morning commute to work (04:30AM) the suspension is silent, but the minute I drive in the late afternoon heat the suspension starts making noise.

The creaking popping type of noise happens over small bumps, bouncy roads, when coming to a stop and taking off... I guess basically when the suspension is working. I've jacked the car up and found no play at the wheels, I find no visual issues, using my prybar I can't find any play; I even tried loading the suspension by jacking it up a little. I step on the doorsill with the door open and rock the car but can't duplicate the sound.

This isn't a light sound, I actually feel l like people may notice the sound if they are standing/walking near my car as I drive by.

Anybody have a similar repair? Suggestions welcomed.

Sorry for the duplicate thread, an mean moderator reminded me that I already asked this question here.

I hate throwing parts at cars, did you diagnose the control arm bushings yourself? I'm not getting any play.

hey, is this thread still active?

this isn't my car, but is this what you guys are talking about??

my car makes this year round and it gets cold here.. has anyone managed to solve the issue? they've replaced the strut bearings a few times on the car, as well as other parts and now they're thinking its the steering gear assembly.. ford gave me extended warranty on the front suspension, because that's what everyone was leaning to thinking it was and now, even thought i've been complaining about the same noises, ford is trying to fight the replacement parts.

Hi all,

I have a 2011 Fusion with similar noises that seem to be seasonal as well. In the winter there is little to no noise. The ford mechanic couldn't find anything wrong with my struts etc... last year. My wife's car so I never drive it. Now that it's warm the noise is back with every little bump, taking off, accelerating. It not thumping like a motor mount would if it were broken. It squeaks, squawks, creaks, and squeals. It only has 92k miles on it and is a shopping vehicle mostly. Any ideas or inspections recommended would be appreciated!
