Buying a courtesy vehicle - Ford Fusion Hybrid SE '17

Hello ford enthusiasts!

 

Wanted advise on an option to buy a Ford Fusion Hybrid SE 2017 as a used vehicle. The odometer is at 3200. The car was used as a courtesy vehicle at the dealership.

At $20,000 does it sound like a good deal?

That depends entirely on the equipment level. Price out a new one similarly equipped and see what the difference would be and whether it's worth the savings to you. It's still under full factory warranty so no worries there.

$20k doesn't sound bad as noted: depends on equipment level. But only 3.2k on the odometer is nice too.

For comparison I priced a base Fusion Hybrid SE with no options - a new one is $22,000 - $22,500 after $3500 rebates. But fully loaded it's closer to $28K. So it really depends on the equipment level. Fully loaded it's a good deal. Base model would just be an ok deal. If you can get the window sticker I can price it out for you. Also the rebates may vary by region.

Might not be a bad deal if you can convince them to include an extended warranty in that price. I bet they'll go for it.

I found the window sticker. It includes the se hybrid tech package and navigation. MSRP $28,155

 

 

 

The price of a new one with $3500 rebates would be roughly $23,500. So not a bad price but you might be able to talk them down to $19K or get them to throw in an extended warranty.
