SRDaniel Posted April 22, 2017 Share Posted April 22, 2017 2010 fusion sunroof not closing. Someone else had a similar problem, but I never was able to find out if and how they had the problem fixed. I noticed the sunroof was not closed properly. I tried to close it..... no luck. What it does is this. If you try to open the sunroof, it opens about 2-3 inches and stops. If you press open again, it will open all the way. When you press close, it closes except for about the same 2-3 inches. Press close again, it closes the majority of the rest of the way, but does not go up, and seal. Tried over and over, and it does the same exact thing each time. Tried google for an answer, and found a Ford relearn procedure. I tried it several times with no luck. The procedure requires starting from the vent position, but I can't get the sunroof to vent. Its as if the sunroof has forgotten where open and closed is. Gorilla tape is keeping the water out for now, but summers coming, and it would be nice to be able to use the moonroof again. To revive a topic, go back and say 'bump' instead of reporting the same thing in a new thread. This problem usually results in a trip to the dealer.
