Has anyone installed led's Taillight/Brake on a 09 fusion. usually you want to the same color bulb as the lens but on the 09 fusion the back of the lens is red and the front is clear. Stork bulbs are clear/white. Also if anyone has info on what one's to buy would be great. Thanks

They are 3157 bulbs stock

Then Philips Vision 3157LED should do the job.

Edit: Thursday, April 27 - To stop the hyper-flashing, order the Philips 21W load resistors or add your own 10-ohm/25W resistors.

Out of curiosity, are there LED bulbs with some form of load resistor built in so you don't have to manually add them to prevent fast flashing issues?

Many modern cars can have their BCM's reprogrammed to accommodate the lower current draw of LED's (without the ballast resistors).

You can often avoid the hyper-flashing by using resistors that draw considerably less current than the equivalent of a halogen bulb.

For instance, for the 3157 and 7443 LED bulbs, Philips supplies (as an accessory) 10-ohm resistors which would dissipate 16.8W but on my vehicle I was able to get-away with 15-ohm resistors which would dissipate only about 10.5W.

Yeah but there is no cutting or splicing wires either. I never liked cutting my factory wires to be honest.

I understand your point about not wanting to splice into the factory wiring.

The crimp on splices are easy to do and can be removed with very little evidence that they pre-existed.

I also like saving the $100 and getting the street legal Philips LEDs.
