Craigooo Posted June 16, 2017 Share Posted June 16, 2017 (edited) So the deal is there's this little tiny motor sound coming from the steering column. It only happens when the hvac is turned on, I disconnected the blower motor because that seems to be an issue and it still made the noise with no blower motor attached. If I turn the hvac system on the noise happens and when I turn it off it goes away. It almost sounds like a second blower motor somewhere in the dash near the drivers side or on the steering column. akirby Posted June 16, 2017 Share Posted June 16, 2017 Had the same issue. I think it's a fan pulling air for the hvac temp sensor. There is a little vent opening to the right of the steering wheel.
