jarnoldnj Posted August 31, 2017 Share Posted August 31, 2017 Hey Everyone, Has anyone ever had any trouble with the black plastic strips located on the both the driver side and passenger side windows coming off? I'm not sure how to accurately describe them but they are near towards the front end of the car but on the windows. I keep trying to push them back into place but they keep coming out. Is there any way to get them to not pop out? I was thinking of trying to use some type of adhesive to keep them in place but wanted to get your thoughts on it. StuAndTraceyInWinnipeg Posted July 9, 2020 Share Posted July 9, 2020 Former Ford dealer tech here. There was, I believe, a TSB relating to the loose door/window trim pieces you've described. I changed lots of them due to the teeny tiny retainer tabs not holding properly. You should be able to buy new ones fairly cheaply from your local Ford parts department.
