Does anyone know of a source for the little black plastic latch that holds the sunglasses holder closed? This is for a 2013 model year. Of course, the dealer wants several hundred dollars for the whole overhead console, but that's not happening. Thanks.

This is late for the original poster, but I just had the same problem and found a Grainger part that works as a replacement. Grainger part number is 5ENW3 and vendor part number is PR-4PK. Worked perfectly for me, just had to cut off the little clocking tab on the console where the latch clips into. Hope this helps other folks hlwho don't want to spend $500 to replace a $2 part...

Used ebhender’s part recommendation, along with a YouTube video to remove the assembly to get to the old part, and it worked perfectly!   Of course I also had to file down the tiny tab to get new one in.  But this post, and response was a HUGE help.

Though this is an older post, I will also thank ebhender for the lead. I fixed the identical system on my 2017 Edge. The advice worked perfectly - the repair took just a few minutes, including filing off the tiny tab on the console. You can buy the part from Grainger as stated, or you can go to the actual manufacturer (Sugatsune) and look up alternate retail sources by zip or postal code. Have a look at https://www.sugatsune.com/product/non-magnetic-mini-touch-latch-3/ . The Sugatsune part number is PR-4PK .

Hello! I know this post is fairly outdated, however hopefully I get a response. How did you exactly file down the tiny tab? And what YouTube video did you reference? I just got the part, however I am having trouble replacing my old one.
