MR5OH Posted October 19, 2017 Share Posted October 19, 2017 Need some help before having to take this to a ford service dept and paying 100$ for an inspection just to tell me something I already know. From what I'm finding on parts sites it looks like this hose harness is part of the vapor canister purge valve assembly. Of course this information isn't showing up on the ford parts site.... Hoses are fine, the plastic valve or nipple that this harness is attached to is where i have an issue. Front right corner of the engine bay. I was curious to see if anyone has had the same issue, this is a used car and the previous owner had some JB weld holding the valve together so that the hose can clip on. Obviously it has failed and I'm trying to see if the valve itself is replaceable before going in there and trying to pull things apart.
