jordanr1987
found these on kijiji - used to be on a mustang so came with 245/45/17s 2 tires had to be replaced but still a good deal definitely feel the ride is a bit rougher steering kind of feels heavier also going over bumps i feel the car kind of wobble from left to right? not sure if this is normal with the differet rim or wider tire? thoughts on that would be great edit: car is a 2011 and has 82,000kms (51k miles) just had a brake service so pads and rotors are fine could maybe be alignment? heres a pic Edited April 22, 2018 by jordanr1987
Oracle_Ed
Nice wheels but what did you do about the bore of the Mustang wheels being bigger than mounting hub diameter of the Fusion?

Did you verify that the offset was close to the same as the Fusion wheels - if not close, that will screw up the suspension geometry and that would be most noticeable over bumps.
bbf2530
Hi Jordan. In addition to Oracle_Ed's questions above: You said you replaced two tires. How many miles are on the two tires you did not replace and are the two new tires the same brand and model as the two old tires? Mixing tires of different brands, models and mileage is a no-no. And where on the car are the two new tires, front or back? What PSI do you have them all filled to? It's probably just the photo, but those tires look like they have a higher aspect ratio than 45. You can start here on information concerning the importance of uniform tires: https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.jsp?techid=136 The same information can be found on every major tire manufacturers website. When did you last have an alignment performed? Since you are having issues, it might be a good idea to have an alignment performed again if over a year ago. Get back to us and good luck.
