Fusion14and17
After 2+ weeks of no driving my 2017 Fusion Platinum is as dead as a door-nail. This has happened twice. The car is 18 months with 10K miles. Ideas?

Your car is still covered under the 3 year/36,000 mile Bumper to Bumper Warranty. Either have your Ford Dealer tow it in to be diagnosed, or jump it and bring it in for the appointment. Either your battery is failing or you have an electrical system/charging system issue. Whatever the issue, it is covered under warranty (unless caused by external damage, misuse etc.). Keep us updated and good luck.
NCEcoBoost
My '17 Fusion (SE 1.5T) frequently sits for 2 weeks (when I'm away with the other car) and I NEVER have a problem with it not starting.
drolds1
Do you have any accessories (phone charger, etc.) left plugged in?
Fusion14and17
Information found on the problem and provided to the dealer -- two SSM may solve the problem, 46433 and 46128. Also, I may have been able to start by using the metal key hidden inside the key fob; of course, if the battery was totally dead, which it seems to have been, that would not have helped. And, there is something called Deep State and there is a Battery Management System which may relate to the key inside the key fob. From web searches all of the technology is great, but .... . More to come when I receive the car back from the dealer. Again, it is a 2017 Fusion Platinum.
Amerikaner83
Any updates on this? I'm looking to purchase a '17 Titanium used and don't want to deal with electrical issues on a 2 year old vehicle.
