T1125P
Hi all I'm looking to change my shocks/struts and springs on my 2009 Fusion V6 SEL. I want to go with KYB for the shocks/struts and I'm looking for performance springs , but the thing is I don't want to drop the car at all. Just want a bit stiffer ride. I have the sway bars, strut tower brace from steeda, just looking for something better than stock. Anyone have any suggestions for good springs but with no drop? Thanks
bangster
I am guessing the 2010-2012 ones won't work, I don't know what is the difference between the Sport "sport tuned" suspension and non Sport, but there are different part numbers for 06-09 and 10-12 regular, and 10-12 sport.
T1125P
Hmm I think it changes from 2010 up, 2006-09 is the first gen. I will keep looking around ^_^

I've had experience with both Monroe Quick Struts and Monroe OESpectrum replacement struts (they are NOT the same thing, and are aimed at different markets), so I can make a valid suggestion for you. I had an Oldsmobile years ago that I installed Quick Struts on all four corners - hoping to restore the factory ride - and was really disappointed to find out that the ride was noticeably stiffer. Then more recently, I installed OESpectrum struts on all four corners of a Lexus and was quite pleased with the ride. So for you, you might really like the ride of the Quick Struts - and you can't beat the value and ease of installation of the entire strut assembly. Hope this helps!

Thanks I have a 2011 SEL V6, and want to do the same, I Have the Quick struts in the front and will put KYBs in the back. I was told it is a stiffer ride and want the performance of that style. Let me know how that works out for you..
