I feel this is a fair price for someone who wants their car right away and not chance price increases or not getting one this model year. We are a smaller dealer and may not get another one in stock that we can let guests test drive. I am more than impressed with the FFH and think Ford hit a homerun with this car. The FFH is a great car (I should know, I have one) but MSRP is a bit steep. Pay to play. At this point in the life of the FFH, MSRP is as fair as it gets. This car is NOT for everyone. Big discounts and financing deals are for the run of the mill cars. $30k puts it out of reach for the masses and I applaud Ford for protecting the price point of their premium product. All the dealers I visited are planning on marking the car up. The distribution up north here is pretty weak I believe, in comparison the West/East Coast, and probably has something to do with the lack of wheeling and dealing around here. The mid-west is only receiving a small fraction of the dealer slated inventory. My search went out in a nearly 100 mile radius for a car in stock. I did get slightly under MSRP, but not a ton. If I would have been willing to drive it back from the west coast I could have gotten a much better deal. The same goes for the incentives, Ford is offering several incentives on the non-hybrid versions of the car but here only 0% financing is available on the FFH.
