Aepp4669
I lucked up on some new in the box Eibach 4031.140 Pro Springs at goodwill for 39.99. Of course they are normally $250+. When I research these say they are for 06-11 Honda Civic. Of course a civic sedan is fwd. They even look exactly like the Eibach springs for the 2010 Fusion. Will these fit or do I just need to throw them on ebay and make some money?
eGuru
Eibach doesn't list any springs for the Fusion. I suspect that if those Honda springs could fit a Fusion, then Eibach would have listed a kit on their website.
Aepp4669
Ok thanks for your correction. But my question still remains. They still look like the springs for my car made by LoTech, Stillen, and other companies. Some people have even cut there factory springs shorter so I was just wondering of these look like they would fit. It's just a spring or am I wrong?
drolds1
Post moved to proper forum y moderator. They may look like other springs, but lots of springs look alike. Did you do a side-by-side comparison? Even if they matched, the spring rates, etc. could be all wrong for your Fusion
Aepp4669
No sorry I don't have a side by side. Just asking it's not the end of the world.

As bangster points out, it is a "sample"image on the Suspension Connection website - and to it certainly doesn't seem close to the picture in the original post. As drolds1 points out, even if they looked alike, that still doesn't mean they have the same load handling or compression characteristics which are determined by metallurgy and heat treatment as well as physical dimensions. Hi Aepp. Everyone is trying to tell you that yes, you are mistaken and no, a spring is not just a spring and you can not use them on your car. You are correct that you should "throw them on ebay and make some money". Again, you cannot use them on your car. Let us know how you make out and good luck.
