Did you get the copy of your Owners Manual when you purchased your Fusion? If you did, the instructions for retrieving the entry code are on pages 57-58. Or look in the Index under "Keyless Entry". If you did not get a copy of the Owners Manual, you can download the PDF version here: https://owner.ford.com/tools/account/how-tos/owner-manuals.html I would also recommend registering on that Ford Owners website. Lots of good information. Good luck with your new Fusion.

raronson52
Anyway, I have a 2014 Fusion SE. 1.5 liter, A few weeks ago one key fobs started working on and off. The other one still worked fine until last night when Both quit compleatly.. Put in new batteries, (yes, the right way). The key pad on the drivers pillar works fine. Honestly the key fobs seam like they .just died. Or if there is one, the reciever in the car. Makes no sense for both to go dead at the same time. My Mechanic tried everything including running a systems check. Everything was fine. Help if you can. thanks in advance> Rick

Any issues with anything in the ceiling console area? Have you tried programming them in again?
theandies
Do you have a push button start or key start? If the owner’s manual is lost and you do not have the code for Keyless Entry, know that the Remote Anti-theft Personality (RAP) Module also has the factory code printed on its label. I believe it's under the dash to the left of the steering column. Also if you have two IA fobs you can put them in the console to retrieve the code: Quote The first thing to get Keyless Entry Door Factory Code you must have 2 programmed keys to do this! Insert the FIRST KEY in the ignition Turn to the “on” position but do not start the engine, and wait about 4 seconds Turn the ignition key to “OFF” position Take out that key and then insert the SECOND KEY Turn to the “on” position but do not start the engine, and wait until your factory code show up on the dash screen If your vehicle equipped with a push-button start ignition: Place the FIRST smart key fobs into the backup slot inside the center console For 2013 2015 2016 Ford Fusion, the backup slot located in the inside of the center storage. You should place the key ring at the top with the buttons facing toward the rear. For 2017 2018 2019 Ford Fusion, the backup slot located in the bottom of the cup holder. You should place the key with the buttons facing upward and the unlock button facing the front of your vehicle. Press the START/STOP button once (do not start the engine), and wait a few seconds Press the START/STOP button again to turn the ignition OFF Take out that key and then place the SECOND smart key fobs Press the START/STOP button once again (do not start the engine), and wait until your factory code show up on the dash screen Link Quote Edited May 27, 2019 by theandies
