Brooke
Hey y’all I need some help!!!! I have a 2013 Titanium Ford Fusion Ecoboost that is a 1,000 over the 60,000 mile warranty and my car will make a loud “farting” noise from the gas tank and within a couple minutes my car completely dies. I have noticed it only does it when the outside temperature is 55 or higher. It had been going on for about 6 months but would not throw or any warnings until like two months ago and my check engine light finally came on I had the diagnostics test ran and the part that was supposedly throwing the code does not even go on this car. I really need help I love my car but no one knows what’s wrong with it!!! I have seen many threads like this but I couldn’t find a direct answer. Please help

What were the code/codes you received? Blind Internet diagnosis? Sounds like a problem with a fuel tank pressure sensor/valve. Post the codes here, and hopefully one of our tech members will jump in and help you. Good luck.
bangster
1.6 or 2.0? What is the code, and what was the part? Was it the purge valve and associated hoses, or the purge solenoid, or something else?
