According to your 2018 Fusion Owners Manual, the first press of the lock button will flash the lights only. Two presses of the lock button will flash the lights and honk the horn. You can find more detailed information and explanations in the manual. Good luck.
bangster
Pressing lock button once or twice? One press of Lock just blinks the directionals (if there isn't a mis-lock situation). A second press within 3 seconds will lock it again (sigh) and honk once if everything is closed, if it honks twice it means something isn't closed (like a door, trunk, possibly the hood). There are some settings in Vehicle->Locks where you can disable the double honk on mis-lock, Switches inhibit (which is kinda cool), etc. Lots of information on this in the manual, easy to find too!

bangster
You can also download a PDF version of it, or an HTML version that is pretty slick at owner.ford.com. Registered or not you can get to them. Having the paper one is nice, but a searchable bigger version on your computer is real nice too.
