Jrpavv
2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid 119k History: Car was US gov, bought at auction with 57k in 2016. When at highway speeds, usually above 75, the wrench lights would come on. Never any codes, no engine hesitation. Recently a few times, wrench lights came on below 40, lacked power. Google search, determined it was the throttle body. Replaced throttle body with OEM. Lights below 40 and lack of power fixed. Still have the wrench lights coming on at high speeds, no hesitation. Any thoughts? Jim
Milan_OH
It should throw a code. Have that read at the parts store or otherwise for a clue. Also, see another thread about restoring the EV mode on this board if you haven't done so yet. Your car's age fits the profile. Any thoughts? Jim Hi Jim. Without more information or hands on observation, Internet guessing will not help much. Have it checked for codes again, while the wrench light is illuminated. Take it to an AutoZone or other place that will check codes. Don't turn off the engine when you arrive, to avoid clearing the wrench light. If there are no codes, then you will probably need to have it diagnosed by your Ford Dealer or an independent shop you trust. Since it is a Fusion Hybrid, I would recommend your Ford Dealer, since many independent shops may not have the experience and expertise for Hybrid specific issues. That would be my best advice, for what it is worth. Keep us updated and good luck.
lolder
I believe there's a TSB about this that re-programs the cooling pump speed for older cars. You'll have to go to a Ford dealer.

Jrpavv
No. Others have the same problem. Can you view this link on Forscan? https://www.forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4981
xns916
You need to have somebody scan the car with a Ford dealer level scan tool, the wrench is for Ford specific vehicles, so a regular scan tool will not pick it up or diag it. I had the same light come on and I needed to replace the electronic cooling for the hybrid system
