Eljan
On Tuesday, September 24th I got accident, my car is total loss, but I have had great memory with my car, we have been over 38 states, it is like my friend. So, I will do anything to fix it, but my budget it low. Anyway, I am planning to find the parts from junkyard, and I will need your recommendation to fix it. I would appreciate if you guys comment below your recommendations! Btw, I live in Alexandria, Virginia.
drolds1
My opinion is to put sentiment aside and let it go. It was totaled for a reason. How were you planning to repair it? Do you have a body shop that's willing to undertake this? This is not a DIY project. I can't see this being done on a low budget.
bbf2530
Hi Eljan. Sorry about your accident and the damage to your good "friend". Unfortunately, I would give the same advice as drolds. That is not a DIY project. There is likely engine and transmission damage to go along with the obvious damage to the unibody structure of the car. It is certainly not a job for someone with a low budget. Keep the memories, but you are probably better off getting another car. Let us know how you make out and good luck.
