Cstults
Changed the ETB on my 2011 Ford fusion sport 3.5L and did the relearn process but still have check engine light and orange wrench come on after driving. Has anybody else had this happen?
drolds1
Post moved to appropriate forum. The Site Feedback & Help forum is for questions about using the site itself. Questions about the Fusion should be posted in the applicable sub-forum. Why did you change the ETB in the first place? What were the symptoms? If you have a CEL, then you need to get the code(s) read before any kind of meaningful reply can be made.
Cstults
Had the P2135 code and after the wrench light and check engine light came on so we changed the throttle pedal out and no change so I was advised it was the throttle body and changed it out but after driving both lights came back on and it threw a P2135 and P0122 code.

Hi Cstults. Did you change the "throttle pedal" or throttle position sensor? See these two links: https://www.obd-codes.com/p2135 https://www.obd-codes.com/p0122 Let us know how you make out and good luck.

It helps to be more precise in the information you provide. You originally stated "...so we changed the throttle pedal out...". Even if anyone else had the same DTC codes (with ~2+ million Fusions and Mondeos out there, certainly someone has, at one time or another), their underlying causes are not necessarily/likely not the same as yours. It is an unfortunate reality that these things can not be accurately diagnosed and repaired over the Internet. The links I provided give the proper troubleshooting explanation, symptoms, causes and diagnostic repair steps. Keep us updated and good luck. sirtanon
as bbf mentioned, the underlying causes can be very different from car to car. On my 2010 Fusion, at one point, I started getting the wrench light while driving, and chalked it up to the ETB. I replaced the ETB and then about 1 month later, it did it again, so I got an OBD-II reader and the Torque Pro app and got a Transmission Speed sensor code.. started thinking about how I was going to resolve that issue, when I just happened to get the wrench again at a very opportune moment.. .. I was sitting at a light, it was starting to get dark, and I turned on my headlights when it happened. As it happened, I had swapped the stock bulbs out with an HID kit I had bought off of Amazon, and after doing a little testing to see if I could recreate the issue (I could, reliably), I realized that if I was driving when I turned on the headlights it would almost ALWAYS throw a wrench and go into limp mode within seconds. If I was in park when I turned them on, it would not, ever. Solution? I pulled the entire HID assembly and put LEDs in. Never had the problem again. Why am I mentioning this? I don't know what, if any, mods you have made to that car, or if it's a legit issue.. but whatever is causing the code could be very unique to your car.
