RETRIEVE KEYLESS ENTRY CODE AND CLEAR MY KEYS WITH ODB2 TOOL

We can't help without knowing what year your Fusion is.  You've given no information in your profile.  If it's a 2013+, the procedure is in the owners guide.   There are also numerous discussions in the forums WRT this topic.  Please use the 'Search' function above before posting a question so that we don't have multiple threads for the same topic and members don't have to repeat answers to questions that have been addressed previously.

guys,

I need to retrieve my forgotten keyless entry code, any possible way?

and I accidentally activated mykey  , but i got only 1 key, kindly help me guys.

What do you mean "accidentally activated mykey"? In your other posts you are clearing codes with a scan tool but can't be bothered to read the manual to know how to work the child locks.

Sounds like self-inflicted injury.

Hi aBRAAR. At this point, your best course of action is to purchase a new factory Intelligent Access Key/Remote and have it programmed properly. Then you can follow the instructions provided in your Owners Manual to accomplish all the relatively simple things you are trying to do. If you do not have your Owners Manual, you can download the PDF version here: https://owner.ford.com/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI-OGbtYWu5QIVBj0MCh3RLgqGEAAYASAAEgKxJvD_BwE&searchid=160581195|13270894275|&ef_id=EAIaIQobChMI-OGbtYWu5QIVBj0MCh3RLgqGEAAYASAAEgKxJvD_BwE%3AG%3As&s_kwcid=AL!2519!3!267771591263!e!!g!!ford owners

Click "Support", then "Download owners manuals".

Let us know how you make out and good luck.

Hi aBRAAR. No. As drolds1 (and your Owners Manual ) stated, you need two properly programmed Intelligent Access keys to retrieve the Keyless Entry Code from the Drivers Information Center.

Common sense would seem to be that you should have two keys anyway, in case you lose one. So common sense would also state get yourself a second key now, and save yourself a lot of time and aggravation.

Perhaps there is a way to do it using FORScan software, but I am not aware of it.

Let us know how you make out and good luck.

dealer asking 217$ for that spare key

Well, unfortunately this is what happens when we lose a key or buy a car with only one key. Having two keys in today's electronically and computer intensive cars is very important. So a lesson to learn for anyone purchasing any car, new or used: Be sure two properly programmed factory keys are included in the purchase.

Ask the Dealer how much they are charging, separately, for the Intelligent Access Key and how much to program your keys. Then see if you can purchase the Intelligent Access Key from another source (online). If you can purchase the key for less somewhere else, then do so and only have the Dealer program the keys.

In fact, I would recommend you consider buying two new keys. Then once the Dealer programs one with your existing key, you can program the third one yourself, and have an extra in case you lose one. Then you will always have two.  Just a thought.

I WANT TO REMOVE my mykey with 1 key. how to make sure i have normal key or admin key,if i make exact copy of this intelligent key, can i able to clear mykey?

Hi ABRAAR, Due to the language difference, I am not 100% sure I understand what you are asking. If you are trying to erase/clear a programmed "MyKey", you need to have a programmed Admin IKT keyfob (a non-"MyKey").

In other words, you currently need to already have two IKT keyfobs. The programmed MyKey it seems you have, and an Admin/non-MyKey.

How many programmed IKT keyfobs do you have now? If you only have one (and it is programmed as a MyKey?), you will need a Ford Dealer or a qualified locksmith to program a second IKT keyfob for you.

Let me know if that answered your question, and good luck.

When i bought this car, it has 1 key. Accidently activated Mykey.

now my locksmith saying , i can erase your current key and make 1 more key with reprogram both keys. then you can remove this mykeys anytime.

also he stated that 90% chance only for this try.

can i go for it?

Hi ABRAAR. That is a decision you will need to make based on how competent your locksmith is, how much you trust him, etc.

In the end, you want to have two separately programmed IKT fobs...not one programmed IKT fob and one cloned copy of that first IKT fob.

Several points though: If he says he can "erase" your 1 existing IKT fob (which you state is currently a MyKey, correct?), then it will no longer be a "MyKey" and you will not need to "remove" it.

And reprogramming IKT fobs is not a hard thing to do, so if he knows what he is doing, there should be a 100% chance of success, not 90%. So that leads me to question his overall ability. But again, I am not there and do not know him.

You are in another country, with no (or very few) Ford Dealers, correct? Having a Ford Dealer do the job properly would be your best bet. If you can not utilize a Ford Dealer, or decide not to, then It is impossible for us to tell you what your locksmith is capable or incapable of doing.

Let us know how you make out and good luck.
