New to Ford and Fusion

2019SE

Hello all!

This is probably not the right place to post all this but...

I have been a Chrysler (Dodge, Plymouth, etc) owner my whole life but wanted to get my wife a midsize car.  I was thinking about the Accord or Camry but she liked the Fusion and the price was amazing.  We bought a 2019 Fusion SE with the appearance package so it has the 2 tone seats, black wheels, and spoiler on the trunk.  Love the look of the car and it drives great.  The 1.5 ecoboost is peppy but I think I would have liked the 2.0 better.  I am trying super hard to like the car but there are some things that really annoy me.  I have had it back to the dealership 3 times already (in 6 months) for noises and smells.  It occasionally spells like rotten eggs...they said it was the A/C so they cleaned it but the smell came back and now they can't recreate it.  The dash trim on the passenger side by the air vent squeaked but they were able to fix that...and now there is a snapping noise (plastic snap) coming from the plastic just over the driver's left ear...the piece around the inside of the window.  And finally, when you turn the car off the engine makes a noise that I can only describe as a fan slowing down with something hitting the fan.

I joined this forum so I can search around for others with the same issues but if someone already knows where I can look or can relate that would be awesome.

Hopefully you won't go through the h3ll we'very been through with our 2014: around 10 recalls, transmission problems, bearing fail, rattles, and generally poor reliability.  Our 2011 was great, and still is, so we bought a 2014, which was a mistake.  We have two Chevs,  and these seem to be much more reliable.

Good luck with yours.
