I have a 2016 Ford Fusion that won’t start right after I get fuel! I can get it started by pumping the accelerator but then it sputters at a light until I get out and push my finger down to the second spring closer piece??? Any one else have this problem?

Quite a few threads on the issue after fueling, I am assuming you mean you go to the gas fill and open up the flapper and that fixes the issue? All seems related to the EVAP system, specifically the purge valve. Do you have the check engine light on ever?

Many people say their Fusion is "farting" or "burping" as well.

Hi Tom W. How many miles are on your Fusion? Still within the 3 year/36,0000 mile Bumper to Bumper Warranty and/or the 5 year/60,000 mile Powertrain Warranty?

Definitely get the codes read. If you don't have a code reader then many/most auto parts stores will do it for you, just be sure to get the code and not let them interpret it for you or give you the text version. I am guessing once you have that and search for that code here or just a google search it will be  EVAP purge valve related.
