She rear-ended someone and now I'm replacing all front-end components, including LED headlights. Ford wants $1500 per side for new LED headlight assembly. I bought a front-end clip from a salvage yard that has good halogen headlights and assemblies. The wiring harness plug appears to be identical. Are the halogen and LED headlights interchangeable as far as the wiring is concerned? Photos below: (1) headlight harness on car being repaired - currently connects to LED headlights (pic 3) (2) headlight harness on salvage clip - currently connects to Halogen headlights (pic 4) (3) wrecked LED headlights (comes from Ford as full assembly; can't just put old LED bulbs in headlight assembly) (4) salvage Halogen headlights 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bangster Posted December 31, 2019 Share Posted December 31, 2019 I can't seem to find a 2017+ wiring diagram for halogen headlights, just the LEDs. Since 2017 was first year for LED Signature Lighting, I doubt an early wiring diagram would help.
