Chip
So what do you think if Ford moves ahead with this? https://www.caranddriver.com/ford/fusion-wagon?src=socialflowFBCAD&utm_medium=social-media&utm_campaign=socialflowFBCD&utm_source=facebook&fbclid=IwAR22uwX9LydICFSEsGpLo_1_z_FojjPmqyn8ZopAvU9y6tZaP-igWZxHLMI

NCEcoBoost
That's clearly a render and not a very good one. If it comes to pass, it won't look like that. Think European Fusion wagon with a few updates.
Multitask
Does not look like a Fusion, more like a Focus, but larger
john98103
Well, the Fusion is also known as the Mondeo in Europe; Modeo came first. They're made in the Ford plant in Cologne Germany and are very popular. Most Mondeos are diesels and many, manual transmissions. As I recall, there is a wagon version of the Mondeo -
NCEcoBoost
Mondeo is apparently getting a redo for '22. IF the Fusion "Activ" came to America, it would be the new Mondeo wagon, on stilts. But, I don't think it's worth it for Ford, based on the non-success of the Regal TourX and the VW Golf Alltrack. Nothing can touch the Subaru Outback. Ford is seeing Lincoln taking a hit due to the lack of sedans. Probably only a matter of time until that happens at Ford, as Ford has NOTHING suitable for former sedan owners, in reality. That, and the upcoming demise of the Malibu, and that's why sedan prices are rising. In some cases, compact SUVs are cheaper out-the-door. Interesting.
