TJP Posted April 1, 2020 Share Posted April 1, 2020 Hey everybody, hoping somebody might be able to shed some light on my situation. Fingers crossed.. Here it goes. 08 MKZ with a recent timing chain install. Took it for a drive and seemed to be running fine around the neighborhood. Got it out on the road and it was gutless. No engine light came on. it would get up to speed but it had no power. changed spark plugs along with adding some fuel system cleaner with no change. it seems to idle better when cold. im thinking maybe something with the throttle body or worst case scenario, i screwed something up in the timing job. hopefully not. i would think that would kick out a fault code like before. anyways, what do you guys think? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
