jchisholm01 Posted May 31, 2020 Share Posted May 31, 2020 Hello, In the last month, my 06 Ford Fusion SE had some intermittent problems where all of the sudden there is a rough idle. It only lasts for a few seconds and then the car drives normally. One time, it only happened for a second, and the car felt stuck for a second. There were no warning lights and the Check Engine light did not go on. A local mechanic looked at the throttle body and so far told me that it may need to be cleaned. Paul T Posted June 6, 2020 Share Posted June 6, 2020 That same thing happened to me in 2013. The throttle bodies are notoriuos for crapping out.
