arandolp
Want to know if SWC on a CRUX SWRFD60 will maintain steering wheel controls (not sure which all ones) with a Pioneer NEX 1440 unit placed now from 2006 Fusion SEL into now 2012 Fusion. Dip switches looked to be set almost same. It would just be playing around with them if nothing was happening at the controls. Had the Crux it in 2006 Fusion and SWC worked fine. The box says it goes up to 2012 but analog? Buttons are different from 2006 to the later 2012. Please. Any advices? Instructions mention CAN or Canbus SWC in some vehicles for the Crux unit. What’s that, a newer system? Someone please explain that matter. I had in 2006: flick through media (hd radio, iPod...Pandora, Spotify, etc., volume, tracking, tuning to presets but not to channeling the radio stations specifically. Worked beautifully except for a hiccup here or there. Can anyone also inform me of the later SYNC upgrade and what that allows? I saw a post where guy went from 4” to 8” screen. Ideally, I’d like to get the SWC working the same as 2006. Crux on the box says it works up to 2012 Fusion. I called Crutchfield and they said it wouldn’t. Perhaps I also may just need a different SWC module controller from Crux, etc. Edited July 1, 2020 by arandolp
drolds1
Your post has been moved to the proper sub-forum. Advanced Driver Assistance Technologies is reserved for discussions of such features as, active cruise control, lane keep assist, automatic collision and pedestrian detection braking, etc. Audio and Sync have a dedicated forum as well.
