sniper695
I have lost 2-3 MPG on my long term average over the last 2 years. I am pushing 100k miles. I am assuming it about time for spark plugs and some other maintenance. is there a preferred spark plug? Any sort of injector/intake cleaner that works and is good to use with turbo? Anything else I should look into?

If you do not have your hard copy, you can download the PDF version here: https://www.fleet.ford.com/parts-service/resources/owner-manuals/ You should definitely change the plugs. Ford's recommendation is usually 100,000 miles. A little sooner is definitely better than later. You should not use intake cleaners (i.e. Seafoam etc) on an EcoBoost engine. The results can/will foul the turbochargers and cause other issues. You can use an injector cleaner that you add to a full tank of gas, like Techron. Let us know how you make out and good luck.

I thought there were things I should not use, I was hoping for some experience with something that works well. Thanks I will look up the plug in the manual, is the recommended plug the best one to use? Edited July 8, 2020 by sniper695

If you Google "Intake treatments and EcoBoost engines", you can find a lot of information concerning not using them for your EcoBoost engine. Here is a good one by a Ford tech:
mozz
Change the air filter if it has been a awhile. Also try disconnecting the battery and let the motor relearn a few parameters. If the old plugs are NGK, that's what i would replace them with, not Motorcraft.

How long would I need to disconnect battery? I will check what brand they are.
