Ponyguy
Mr. Homer: When I purchase a car that I plan to keep for a while, I get the Ford/HELM shop manual for it. Thus far, I've only ben able to get a Wiring Manual for my 2019 Fusion Energie, and it was almost two inches thick... the wiring manuals for my other vehicles were about 1/2 inch thick. The only "Shop Manuals" I've located (on eBay) have been on CD's... and they were horrendously expensive... in the $250 - $300 neighborhood. Too rich for my blood... besides, this CPO car has a 7 year powertrain warranty, so I'll let the "Technicians" from Ford service it. By the time the car is out of warranty, I'll probably be "out of warranty" as well. (I'm nearing 80 years old). Good luck in your search, buddy!

Good luck in your search, buddy! That made me LOL. I understand the sentiment. I've gone from thinking about what my next car will be to wondering if I'll be here to get another car.
Homer
Your response was a hoot. You're just a kid. I've been at Helm and seen what they do - it's amazing that there are no print manuals on a car that's almost 5 years old. These wizards must think everyone will take their laptop or iPAD out in the garage to read as they work. It's a question of proper application of technology. All they have to do is go to print and only offer the print copy through Amazon. They put them out on every store shelf and they don't sell enough of them to justify the print expense. No reason to do that today. I may take the copy of the PDF I bought and edit it down and print it up for sale since no one seems to care to. I don't have to worry about copyright infringement if offering a product that no one else is - not competing against anyone...
