Hookemhorns2 Posted July 27, 2020 Share Posted July 27, 2020 The Dimming warning comes on and not sure what that is but now my car is hard to start and it just started doing that today. drolds1 Posted July 28, 2020 Share Posted July 28, 2020 IDK what the "dimming warning" is either. Did you check your owners guide under "Messages?" Also, what do you mean by hard to start? Is it cranking slowly or is it requiring multiple attempts? If it's the former and your 2015 Fusion still has it's original battery, I'd say it's time to replace said battery, especially in light of the mysterious warning message. If yes, then that combined with the hard starting would point towards a failing battery. How old is the battery? If more than 3 years old, it is due for replacement. Either way, have the battery properly load tested. You can find coupons for a free battery test on the Ford Owners website. Well I ended up having to replace my 5 year old car battery especially since my car ended up going into power saving mode and shut down.
