rockman
Hello I have a 2010 and the temp gauge climbs to hot and sometime drop back to normal. It does overheat when it does not drop back to normal. I changed the thermostat and the radiator and it didn't fix it. The coolant system was bleed and the fans seem to be working when the engine is on. I tested the fans with 12 volt and they run. I was told that the coolant temperature sensor might be the problem. When I look it up I am only seeing the cylinder head temp senor. Is the cylinder head temp and coolant temp sensor the same? If not where is the coolant temp sensor located? I do know the cylinder sensor is a lot of work to get too I am hoping if there is a coolant temp sensor It might be easier to get to. Do you think that might be the problem with the overheating? Thanks in advance
