Mountaingimps
Decided to order some wheel skins for my OEM rims. I actually like OEMs but was I mulling getting high end blackout rims however I unsure.. Came across these wheel skins online and decided to give them a try first since its not sinking a ton of money into new rims and rubbers. Fits right over your OEM. Installation was fast and easy. Doesn't leave a lip like some of the others out there. Going to see how long the last and go from there.. Next improvement... I have a wrap guy going to work his magic Friday. 2016 FFH - original owner and still in love with this car... bbf2530
Hi Mountaingimps. I am not usually much of a black wheel fan. However, those actually look really nice on your car. ? Good luck.
Mountaingimps
Thanks BBF! I think it only works with a the right shade of white car myself. My next thing is high gloss wrap on the top of the vehicle to cut the profile. The installer is coming by friday so should have another update this weekend. Here is the type of wrap cut I will be getting:
Mountaingimps
The wrap quote is going to run $250 for those that are interested. I will post the after photos friday.
ThatFordFusion
Mountaingimps love how those wheel covers look! I've been on the edge of getting them. Any way you can share a link to them? I also like the caliper covers, how much did those run you and where could I pick up a set?

The calipers are not covers. I took them off, ceramic painted them (high temp paint) and applied the brembo decals myself. Here is the red kit I used x2 coats: https://www.amazon.com/Dupli-Color-BCP400-Single-Brake-Caliper/dp/B000B6AF80/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=caliper+paint+kit+red&qid=1607371638&sr=8-5 Got my black zinc drilled and slotted calipers and pad from R1Concept Performance: https://www.r1concepts.com/ And for the wheel skins you need to have your rim model and look it up a catalog like here: https://issuu.com/coast2coastinternational/docs/cci_catalog_2020_web Once you find the skin you want search the web for the model number. I got mine of ebay for $100. Here is a basic installation video. Its was so simple and it holds tight on the fusion rims. Here
Waldo
You put Brembo decals on your factory calipers? Really? Why don't you stick a Ferrari badge on the back of the trunk. Maybe stick a V8 sticker on the fender while you're at it... Sorry, I can appreciate the wrap and the wheels and the caliper paint, but labeling something that is obviously that fake is a no-no in my book. Mountaingimps
The proper Brembo replacements may be next. Its a technical decision since the hybrid uses regen braking so I'm talking to a few engineers next week regarding the upgrade. Reality is its absolutely worthless on a the hybrid as is it stops on a dime and factory rotors and pads were fantastic with plenty of meat on 'em. Some folks are getting anywhere from 75K to well over 100K. The Brembo proper are 150 per caliper. ttps://www.summitracing.com/parts/mof-brcf357?seid=srese1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI-tHxpqm-7QIVGKSzCh2siQQnEAQYASABEgJif_D_BwE
