kkillion
Has anyone else had the problem of antifreeze leaking into the 2014 Fusion engine? Ford dealer said this is ongoing problem but we have to pay to get it fixed. The car only has 58,000 miles. It is owned/operated by elderly lady. If it's an ongoing problem why isn't Ford fixing it at their expense? I'm so disappointed in Ford - that's all my family drives.
bbf2530
Hi kkillion and welcome to the Ford Fusion Forum. Sorry to hear you are having issues The "Site Feedback and Help" sub-forum is for questions and issues with the website itself. Therefore, your thread will be moved to the "General Powertrain Discussion" sub-forum, where it may get more appropriate viewing and hopefully someone who can help you. Good luck.
drolds1
Yes, it is a known problem and if you peruse the forums using the SEARCH function, you'll find several discussions about it. Here is one such thread. If you read through to the last post, dated 8/17, there is further explanation. Unfortunately, once the 5/60 powertrain warranty has expired, Ford will no longer perform the repairs under warranty. I agree that they should be making good on these defective engines. Perhaps there will be a class action lawsuit in the future. You can contact this law firm to check on the status of any such action.
