drolds1
First, when posting a question like this, it helps to give details such as, year and model Fusion, engine size, transmission, etc. WRT that part, it's the VCT solenoid. It wouldn't cause stalling and if it was bad, you'd have a CEL. However, why would want to replace a part when you don't even know what it's function is? It sounds as if you're just randomly replacing parts and hoping for a good outcome. You could end up spending a lot of money and still be left with the problem. There are various other, more likely causes for stalling in Fusions. Search the forums for more information. There's plenty of discussion about it.
bbf2530
Hi Jagwun. Exactly what drolds1 stated: First, more information would be needed to give you any sort of helpful assistance. Second, at this point, you are blindly throwing parts at a problem. That is most often a futile and costly way to do things. Post back with the information drolds1 mentioned, and perhaps one of us or our tech members will be able to assist you. Good luck. Ever received a tune-up before this? Have you had the far checked to see if it has any stored DTC codes? What plugs did you use when you replaced the plugs? Did you check and properly gap them (they do not always come properly gapped)? Go to your local big box auto store (AutoZone etc.) and have them performe a DTC check for any stored codes. They do it for free. It is not a good idea to blindly throw parts at an engine issue. It is inefficient and can become costly. Keep us updated and good luck.

If you used something other than Motorcraft, I would recommend switching back to Motorcraft. And again, have you had the car checked for stored DTC codes? You can have it checked free at your local AutoZone and most otgher big box auto stores My opinion: This could be something as simple as running a few bottles of Techron through your next few fuel fill-ups. Or it could take an intake cleaning service. Or it could be something more serious. If the COPS are the original coils, they need to be replaced. And it could be fuel injectors. It could also be a failing PCM. But again, throwing parts at a problem is not the proper way to do things. If the plugs, fuel system cleaner and intake cleaner service do not do the job, you are probably looking at having a good tech diagnose this.
