mirak
Past year or so, I’ve been getting intermittent CELs for Code P0128. The car seems to be driving great. The heater is working fine. I’ve cleared the code twice over the past year. It’ll go months without the CEL coming back on again. Recently came back on for the third time. I haven’t taken good enough notes to identify a pattern of what might be triggering this. I think it came on at some point over the summer so I’m not sure it’s the recent cold weather. ideas? Thermostat or more likely the sensor?
bbf2530
Hi mirak. There is no way to properly/accurately diagnose this over the Internet, since there are multiple causes for a P0128 code. You can find DTC P0128 information here: https://www.autoblog.com/2016/03/15/p0128-obd-ii-trouble-code-coolant-thermostat-coolant-temperatu/ And here: https://www.obd-codes.com/p0128 Let us know how you make out and good luck. lolder
My car is gone to the Grandson 2 years ago but I think I remember there may not be a conventional thermostat in the FFH.
